DISCOVER SOPHIA LYNCH
Born in London, Sophia Lynch is a British contemporary landscape artist working from studios near Salcombe in Devon and also in Tuscany. Lynch gained an MA from Royal College of Art, where she was awarded the RCA Residency, painting in the Asilah Palace in Morocco. Sophia's paintings and editions have been sold in many galleries with collections in the UK, Europe and Japan, she has worked on many illustration commissions and been featured in a Channel 4 documentary. Lynch is known for her minimal seascape and abstract paintings exploring light and chromatic colour gradients. Calming and ethereal, her paintings capture summers in the Med and ocean views from the studio.
Exhibitions have included Manor Gallery, Flowers Gallery, Harrods Gallery and her work has frequently been exhibited in Art Fairs in London and internationally.
