A new collection from the studio celebrating summer.
Lynch is known for her minimal seascape and abstract paintings using light and chromatic colour gradients. With studios in South Devon and in Tuscany, this ethereal series of paintings captures summers in the Med and ocean views from the artists studio.
Born in London, Sophia Lynch is a British contemporary landscape artist working from studios near Salcombe in Devon and also in Tuscany. Lynch gained an MA from Royal College of Art, where she was awarded the RCA Residency, painting in the Asilah Palace in Morocco. Sophia's paintings and editions have been sold in many galleries in the UK, with collections in Europe and Japan, she has worked on several illustration commissions and been featured in a Channel 4 arts documentary. Lynch is known for her minimal seascape and abstract paintings exploring light and chromatic colour gradients. Calming and ethereal, her paintings often capture summers in the Med and ocean views from the studio. Exhibitions have included Flowers Gallery, Harrods Gallery and her work has frequently been exhibited in Art Fairs in London and internationally.
